When All Hell Breaks Loose! Should Christians Be Afraid?

Matthew 10:28 – And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell

With all the tragedy that we see and hear in the media; makes you wonder if these are the end times?  As a Christian, should we be afraid or rejoice?  No one can predict what will happen from day-to-day, but what we can’t do is allow fear to invade our lives as a plaque

Fear is a tool of the enemy and he wants to instill fear in the hearts of men to distract them away from the promises of God.  God said in His Word that we (as Christians/Believers) should not fear anyone or anything that can only destroy the body, but place our fear in Him who is able to kill both body and soul and cast it into hell if we have not accepted Jesus in our lives

The enemy’s job is to kill, steal and destroy the works of God in our lives.  To shape our minds to offend God by placing doubt and fear in our hearts.  If the enemy (Satan) for those of you who are wondering can interfere with our daily lives and walk with God, then he has won, but as Christians/Believers of God, this should not be so!

To ensure that we do not allow tricks of the enemy to enter into our lives and heart, we must daily be in the Word of God.  That means to read the bible, study the bible, meditate on God’s Word.  Prayer more earnestly and bend our knees before the Lord.  Fast for strength!  Get involved in a support group of believers to gain strength.  Whatever you do, keep God first in your life!
