Examine Yourself Before Casting Stones
Just like the people who brought the woman to Jesus and desired to stone her for her indiscretion; we sometimes want to cast stones at one another. I have come to realize that my way of thinking and living is for me and not necessary for others to follow. Let me explain; I may be convicted in my spirit to not wear pants, but the next person can wear pants with no conviction and if this is the case, who am I to say they are not living right and cast judgement on them?
Another thought on this subject is before we boldly cast judgement and begin to cast stones at each other, we must first examine ourself. Jesus while speaking to the multitude stated in Luke 6:42: “Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye“
To sum this up, we need to work out our own soul salvation and stop worrying about what our brother or sister is doing or not doing. If our brother or sister commits an offense, we should pray for them as a good christian and leave the rest to Jesus. Jesus sees all, knows all and will reward all accordingly
God Bless You!
